Correctional Officer

• full-time

• $29,363.00 starting

• guards inmates in penal institution - guards and directs inmates during work assignments and daily life; conducts searches, etc.

• must be able to attend academy and be certified

• physical/drug screening required

• high school diploma/GED

• 21 years of age

• valid Virginia driver's license

• re-grade in salary after one year

Kitchen Supervisor

• full-time

• $26,040.00 year (minimum)

• supervises inmates and/or civilians engaged in the food preparation & assembly of food in addition to sanitation and utility functions; ensures proper portion & special dietary requirements; assigns/coordinates work of inmates/civilians to promote efficiency of operations; completes documentation for Department of Corrections standards.

Licensed Practical Nurse

• full-time

• $32,955.00 year (starting)

• qualified applicants must possess a valid/current nursing license through the state of Virginia, a valid Virginia Driver's License, and be able to successfully complete a background/criminal history check

• experience in a correctional setting helpful, not required

• 12-hr shift - working 4 days on/4 days off - 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
