The New River Valley Regional Jail encourages inmates to
maintain contact with their friends and family through
regular visits. Inmates complete a visitation
form and select who they want to be authorized to visit them
during their regularly scheduled visitation time (listed
below).
Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a
parent and/or legal guardian.
Important: Visitors
must arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled visitation
time. Late arrivals will not be allowed to visit. Visitors need to bring a picture ID for visitor identity
verification.
