New Officer Testing Information

**If you have not applied yet, please text NRVRJ to 97211 to apply first 

 

The entire testing process should take right around 4 hours.

 

  • Dress: Please wear tennis shoes/athletic clothing (this is not an interview so you do not need to dress up)
  • What to bring: Please bring your driver’s license inside with you and a drink (optional)
  • What not to bring: Cell phones, backpacks, purses, any other personal items that are not listed above must be left in your car
  • Tests: The tests will consist of 3 parts:writtentest that will include Vocabulary, Grammar, and Math, a small agility test that should take less than 60 seconds to complete that checks your capabilities of jogging, climbing stairs, bending, and keeping your balance, and a Psychological Examination test.

 

Instructions for arrival: The testing location will be texted to you a couple of days prior to your testing date. Please arrive at the testing location a little before 8 AM. The testing starts promptly at 8. 

 

Due to Covid regulations, we are requiring everyone who is participating in testing to wear a mask.
