New Officer Testing Information

 

The entire testing process should take right around 2 hours.

  • Dress: please wear tennis shoes/athletic clothing (this is not an interview so you do not need to dress up)

  • What to bring: Please bring your driver’s license inside with you and a drink (optional)

  • What not to bring: Cell phones, backpacks, purses, any other personal items that are not listed above must be left in your car
  • Tests: The tests will consist of 2 parts a written test that will include Vocabulary, Grammar, Math and a small agility test that should take less than 60 seconds to complete that checks your capabilities of jogging, climbing stairs, bending, and keeping your balance. 

Instructions for arrival: Please arrive at NRVRJ a little before 8AM. The testing starts promptly at 8.  Please have a seat in the main lobby someone will call your name to take you back to where the testing will take place.
