New Officer Testing Information

**If you have not applied yet, please text NRVRJ to 97211 to apply first 

 

The entire testing process should take right around 4 hours.

 

  • Dress: Please wear tennis shoes/athletic clothing (this is not an interview so you do not need to dress up)
  • What to bringPlease bring your driver’s license inside with you and a drink (optional)
  • What not to bringCell phones, backpacks, purses, any other personal items that are not listed above must be left in your car
  • Tests: The tests will consist of 3 parts: a written test that will include Vocabulary, Grammar, and Math, a small agility test that should take less than 60 seconds to complete that checks your capabilities of jogging, climbing stairs, bending, and keeping your balance, and a Psychological Examination test.

 

Instructions for arrival: Please enter into the main lobby at the jail and let them know you are there for officer testing.
